Throughout this webpage, High Performance Engineering Limited may be referred to as 'HPE' and the terms 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to High Performance Engineering Limited. 'You' or 'the customer' refers to the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions.
All goods sold by HPE are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax). Any applicable VAT charges will be displayed at checkout. All orders are classed as 'pending' until full payment has been received. By purchasing goods from HPE the customer is agreeing to the Terms & Conditions set out in this webpage.
Prices of our good may be subject to change without notice. HPE reserves the right to modify or discontinue our Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. HPE shall not be held liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price-change, suspension or discontinuance of our Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us. We may at our discretion limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
By ordering goods from HPE, you agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact your as soon as needed.
HPE is a small company specialising in high-end engineering, meaning despatch and shipping times may vary. As a consequence, some orders may take up to 10 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be processed. Shipping times may vary depending on the country and speed of customs. Customers wishing to collect by free local pickup from our Surrey HQ are able to by prior arrangement.
Shipping charges for your goods are calculated and displayed at checkout. Your goods may be subject to additional import duties and taxes incurred once your good reach their destination country. HPE is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are the responsibility of the customer. These charges will be calculated and collected by the courier.
In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, any order may be cancelled with a full refund given from the moment you place your order. From the date of receipt of goods, the customer has a 14-day 'cooling-off period' in which to notify HPE of their wish to cancel their order. The customer then has a further 14-days from the date of notification to return the goods to HPE. For unwanted good or good ordered in error, a 10% restocking fee may be charged.
The customer has 30-days from taking ownership of goods to claim a refund if it is faulty. In the first instance of this, or if your goods arrive damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the condition of the goods. We address these on a case-by-case basis and will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Goods returned to HPE must be in original packaging without being installed or used and with all relevant seals and enclosures intact. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your good back to the manufacturer.
Once the returned goods have been received and inspected, HPE will contact you by email to confirm receipt of the the item. HPE will also contact you by email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund
Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds for bespoke-engineered or personalised goods. Except in the case of faulty good where the goods can be proven to have been faulty at the time of receipt by the customer and prior to fitting, all carriage costs for returned goods must be paid for by the customer.
Refunds issued on goods obtained through our online store can be processed by HPE on the same day, though it may take up to 10-days for funds to clear in your account.
